Whoaahhh!!! I'm so disoriented!!! I drop out for a bit and I come back and everything ...is ...so...different...ohhhhh.....

Boy, the fake calls on this site are so hokey and lame, but then again, anyone who'd actually want to use something like this would also be that way.


Now, if they were smart, they'd have something like a call where you could pretend you were in some prestigious profession. The voice on the other end would say something like , "sorry to bother you, doctor, but Mrs. Phillips' fever has spiked and now her pressure is dropping and she's complaining of acute abdominal pain."

Then you could respond for your audience with stuff like "What's her pulse ox?.......Increase her morphine drip by 10 milligrams and have her prepped for surgery.... Who's on call for anesthesiology tonight?.....Oh, okay. He's okay.......I'll be there within the next thirty minutes. Page Dr. Casey. I want him to scrub in on this one..."

Just think of the posibilities...law, finance, politics...

"Oh yeah. Tell Cheney I'll pass on the hunting trip, but it's a yes on the fly fishing next week. That bastard. Hahahahhh..."

Do you like the new look? I figured I'd do something different after I finally got around to fixing the site. I'm sure you noticed that the site sidebar got sheared off in some kind of hit and run accident, I'm not really sure what happened.

I seriously thought about coming out to NOLA for Rising Tide, but the job just became more tenuious. The light at the end of the tunnel may in fact be an on coming train. How does the saying go?? It's not paranoia if they really are out to get you. It does suck that "they" seems to be the powers that be in the universe. I should write you another email, but then I'd feel like all I'm doing is kvetching, I've been thinking about constructing something a bit less revealing, but riffing on the theme for 'Trivial Pursuits.'

I think you've got a plan you could create a bunch of them with various purposes and prestige, charge a couple of bucks, provide a suggested script to follow along, allow a download of the mp3 for a bit of practice, and presto, a fake life!! Feel free to take the idea and run with it, it coulkd be a quick and easy online business.

Hey, c'mon now! You know you can write to kvetch anytime. I've gotta feel like I'm contributing something to the friendship!

BTW, you're right...it's not paranoia if they really are out to get you.

As for the fake life thing, my real life has been so psychologically and emotionally challenging lately that I can't imagine trying to put something like that together. I can barely even get a post on my blog. Oy!
