I have been trying to use this space to post about that ephemeral electonica that passes so quickly out here in cyberspace. Those things that only have meaning in the topica of the moment, the flashes of news, mp3's, animations and even jokes. I expect that years or even months down the line many if not most of the links will be broken. I have been posting on the topic of electronic ephemera and the efforts to preserve it. I have asked a few people to join me in making posts, I had hoped to create a community of posters and readers, and encourage people to comment and interact with the posters. I would like to put out an open invitation. If you would like to post, just leave a comment or email me at electronicephemera @ gmail.com and we'll see if we can work something out.

I would post but I steal all my stuff from you so EE would become a big Mobius Loop of posts that would eventually swallow the entire blogosphere then finally collapse in on itself taking out most of the interweb leaving only phishing sites and porn.

Talking about ephemera and preservation, do you know www.archive.org? It's often possible to see archived versions of now defunct web sites (simply enter the old Web site's URL in the search box) :)

Muse your second post made me laugh. You should know by now that my eyes see to the very edges of the internet, seeing the tiny gems in the vast darkness.
Lol, Anywayz! Pi7 how about a post every couple of weeks (or whenever you feel like it)? And muse do you want to have a go at it, I'd just have to extract a promise from you not to post those personality quiz things.(well, maybe one or two if you really really want to, but then you'd have to post 10 non-quizy things)?
