SLO Not The Only One

In the aftermath of hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County is struggling to keep supplies on its shelves for the 140 nonprofit groups that supply some of our area's people in need with fresh, frozen, packaged and canned food.

Your local food bank is often the only source of good meals for thousands, and for some of the larger ones, perhaps hundreds of thousands. Please don't forget to try and help out where you can, especially with the winter holiday season coming up.
