Global Test

Bush is only interested in countries when he's invading them. Bush bragged about the U.S. commitment of $35 million to help respond to a tragedy that has cost more than 100,000 lives and displaced millions of people in India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Somalia and other countries. What the president did not say is that this initial commitment is less than the planned expenditure for his Jan. 20 inauguration: $40 million. It was, as well, less than the immediate commitment by smaller and less wealthy nations such as Spain, which has already promised to provide $68 million.

It feels like we are caught with our pants down. I don't see how anyone can be deceived into thinking we are the good samaritans of the world anymore.

Thanks for your concern. Good to know there are people like you out there!

Since when did making comments about our government become treason? I had thought that one of my wonderful rights as an American was free speech, and more importantly TRUE free speech. When did telling the truth become a crime? You can have your opinion Otto and present facts, just don't spew your hate here.

It never ceases to amaze me that the most flag-waving, patriotic-talking people in this country don't understand the first thing about America. Anytime we attack a country, it's somehow "protecting our freedom", but any dissent from the current administration is "treason".

Keep telling yourself that half of Americans, and almost all the people around the globe all have their "heads up their asses" - and the only people in the world who know what is 'really' going on are the other half of Americans with the lowest IQ's, least education, least literacy rates, and most bibles.
