A Dove from the Phoenix?

I don't understand why Ariel "The Butcher" Sharon thinks a smear campaign against a dead man is going to help an ongoing 'peace' process. I definitely don't think that Arafat is the kindly man of peace that the Arab news is trying to portray, but he did lay down his arms and come to the peace table. My point being, and I think everyone will agree, there is bad blood on both sides. Sit down and hammer out a peace plan and then you can sling as much mud as you want.
