Dangerous, dangerous. Much time spent browsing here, then clicking through his links, etc. Next thing you know, I'm looking at the equipment. I'm the kind of person that is very vulnerable to trying to do impossible things like this, you know. Arts and science junkie, I am, and (uh-oh) this is the two rolled into one. My hand was shaking as I closed the browser window and I had to keep repeating a firm "NO" until the image of myself spending countless nights with expensive and complicated equipment in a dark little home-made observatory behind my sister's mountain cabin in Cloudcroft, New Mexico faded into oblivion. Sigh.

I soooo would NOT spend the money to do this, but it would be SOOOOO cool if I had a friend who did that I could visit!
